As an experienced Clinical Psychologist, Beth has worked in both the public and private sectors, including inpatient and outpatient settings. She has previously held various positions in child, adolescent and adult mental health services.
Beth provides therapy to adolescents (age 14 onwards) and adults experiencing a broad range of concerns including:
Depression, anxiety, and panic
Obsessive compulsive disorder
Attachment-based difficulties
Complex trauma
Loss and grief
Addictions
Eating difficulties
Personality issues
Relationship problems
Parenting adjustment difficulties
Providing a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment is of the upmost importance. Beth aims to provide a therapeutic space for individuals to explore, reflect and discover new possibilities within.
Beth uses a psychodynamic approach to therapy and also draws upon a range of other evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet the preferences and needs of individuals, such as attachment-based and interpersonal therapies, emotion-focused, dialectical-behavioural therapy, trauma-informed, and cognitive behavioural interventions.
Beth offers individual face-to-face sessions or online sessions via telehealth. Telehealth appointments can be particularly helpful for people with transport difficulties or those living in regional areas.
Beth is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and remains current with the latest research and best practice. Beth is also a Board approved supervisor and available for clinical supervision.
